Eric
Severson
Artistic Director
Eric
Severson has been creating theater with young people since 1993.
He has served as technical director, scenic designer, costume designer,
creative dramatics instructor, assistant director, director and now artistic
director.
Eric worked for the Children's Summer Theater Institute for nine summers
before branching out on his own and founding theatre e3 in 2002.
Eric has a B.A. in Theater and French from St. Olaf College, an MA in
Theatre from the University of MN, and is ABD (all but dissertation) on
his PhD in Theater.
During the year, he teaches English and Dramatic Literature at St.
Paul Academy and Summit School where he also runs their Theater Program.
theatre e3 has flourished due to the continued creativity, love and support
of family, friends, staff, students,
and all who love and appreciate the power of what young people are capable
of achieving if they put their hearts and heads into it.
